This past weekend (Oct. 4th) I ran my 4th St. George Marathon. It was rainy (for the whole 4:13 it took me to run it!!) and windy, my legs were sore, I had massive blisters but guess what? I logged onto to the marathon website at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning and signed up for the runner's series which, if I complete it, will give me a guaranteed spot in the marathon next year. Am I nuts? No, I just really, really love this marathon, even in the rain and wind. By the way, the next morning after the marathon when I woke up and looked out the window, the sky was a beautiful clear blue and sunshine and the temperatures at 12:00 noon was 67 degrees--perfect running weather! What happened? It's all a part of the adventure...
